For 10 days avoid makeup on the treated area, intense sweating, swimming, tanning, hot saunas, and laser, chemical, or Botox treatments. Aquaphor is recommended due to low irritation risk; if you are allergic, plain petroleum jelly can be used. After healing, use a high-SPF sunscreen on brows and avoid AHA products on the area to reduce fading. Additional lip care: ice the lips every 30 minutes on day one to minimize swelling and bruising; avoid toothpaste and hot foods the first day; for 3 days avoid teeth whiteners, spicy foods or drinks, lemon, salt, and vinegar; use a straw for staining beverages and wear a hat outdoors. Additional eyeliner care: ice eyelids every 30 minutes on day one to reduce swelling and bruising, and avoid eyelash tinting, perming, or extensions for two weeks.
